Whichford Ram

Jim and Dominique's black Hebridean sheep can often be seen clashing horns in the fields by The Straw Kitchen. These sculptural pieces are a celebration on this theme. Each Ram is made over a period of ten days - the decorators use a two-piece mould as a former and then create character for each Ram by fettling and forming their individual head and horns freehand. We also gently spray each Ram with a light slip before they are fired to liven them up even further.

Our delivery charge of £29.50 applies to all orders no matter the size or quantity of pots and is for mainland UK addresses only. As all our products are handmade the leadtime on your order will vary depending on the pots you have chosen. This will be indicated on each product and on your order confirmation. 10 Year Frostproof Guarantee

The clay we use is a special mix of local clays, prepared and blended in-house to ensure the highest grade of frostproof terracotta. All our terracotta flowerpots carry a 10 Year Frostproof guarantee against lamination in the frost. However, we know from experience that our pots last a lot longer. Each pot is stamped with our name and a code indicating the year it was made.
