Adam is passionate about form and function and aspires to produce work that continues long traditions. His inspiration is drawn from utilitarian pots of all ages, particularly European domestic ware and he loves the fluidity and challenges that earthenware and the slipping process encompass.
Adam's handthrows bold and functional forms on the wheel and then uses slip to decorate them in fluid and abstract patterns using trailing, combing and sgraffito techniques.
