"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful" (William Morris 1834-1896)
This can be said of the garden too! The Love Birds Pots are inspired by the greatest designer of the late 19th century Arts and Crafts Movement in Great Britain, William Morris. His wallpaper and textile designs, many still in current use today, are a skillful reworking of decorative motifs from India and the Middle East, including Isnik Ottoman Pottery.
Our Love Bird motif takes elements from two of his designs, reworks them and adds a new border of vine leaves and grapes to create an embellished deocration.
