Summer Splendour
"How I Garden" - A Talk by Adam Frost
In this talk, Adam will share his personal approach to making the most of any garden space — from a window box or terrace to a larger plot with borders and vegetables. He explores not just what to grow, but why we grow it, and how planting choices, structure and pots can sit comfortably together. Drawing on his own experience, Adam will give practical tips to help your garden thrive, whilst encouraging the simple rituals that make it your own. Adam’s talk will be followed by a Q&A.

Talk by Fergus Garrett
'How a Garden can Support Wildlife'
- a talk by Fergus Garrett, Head Gardener at Great Dixter.
We are delighted to welcome Fergus back to the Pottery. In this inspiring talk, he will explore insights from the biodiversity audit at Great Dixter, revealing how the garden supports an extraordinary range of wildlife, including 40% of UK bee species!
Fergus will demonstrate how the findings from Great Dixter can directly relate to other gardens, large and small and prove what an important resource these spaces are for conserving some of our most threatened wildlife.
Learn how, collectively, along with roadside verges, brownfield sites, urban and suburban spaces, our own gardens can play an important role in the future of many of our native species.
Talk time: 11.30am.
Talk tickets: £25 each.
