Fennel Jar

You don't have to just grow fennel in this jar !! But it is decorated around its neck with sprigs of herbs. a difficult pot to make because the curve shape has been pushed to extremes.

Ali Babas are the pots which most resemble the human body and English potters use words to describe them which reflect this - neck, shoulder, belly and foot.

The clay we use is a special mix of local clays, prepared and blended in-house to ensure the highest grade of frostproof terracotta. All our terracotta flowerpots carry a 10 Year Frostproof guarantee against lamination in the frost. However, we know from experience that our pots last a lot longer. Each pot is stamped with our name and a code indicating the year it was made.
