This is a complex design closely based on pots seen holding flower arrangements in late 17thCentury Dutch paintings.
The face of the Putti was modeled from Jim’s second daughter Theodora and it is flanked by two extravagant handles based on shells in the Baroque manner. Ideally, this pot should be raised on a plinth or low wall to appreciate its detail.
This pot is made to order. Please call 01608 684 416 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
