The Sassanians are a showcase of ancient skill and tradition. The Sassanian Jar was one of Jim Keeling’s first-ever designs, inspired by both his own travels in Iran and an original 7th Century AD pot from the Sassanian Empire seen in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
The swirling arches and snakes of clay are set-off by raised dots with an impressed flower detail, making these pots a real garden feature.
