Built up over several days out of 5 different sections, this is one of the hardest pots to make in the Whichford range, and can only be attempted by our most skilled throwers. They must not only have the ability to master the large quantities of clay needed, but also the experience to judge the exact moment when it is safe to continue the work of building up the pot.
Bands of texture are held in place by the Whichford roulette and embossed swirls. A magnificent pot, which would make an ideal centerpiece for a formal garden, and looks equally good planted or unplanted.
