Tucked away in a beautiful Warwickshire valley, the
thirty craftsmen and women who produce our world famous flowerpots enjoy
one of the most enviable working environments in all Britain.
It is an environment we want to share and we welcome many visitors from
near and far. We can promise you that it is worth the journey as it is
the only place where you can see our full range (even more than on our
website).
The Octagon
at Whichford Pottery

The Octagon is the home of Whichford Crockery, our new
collection of hand-thrown table and cookware, designed by Adam Keeling.
The work of other world class potters, including Jim and Dominique Keeling,
John Jelfs, David Garland and Andrew Mcgarva, makes for an even more sumptuous
array of useful and stylish pottery to give, use and enjoy in the home.
Visitors will also find an ambitious array of individually made things,
including hand-forged stainless steel gardening tools, luxurious Angora
woollen walking socks gathered from organically reared Devonshire goats,
designer textiles from the Galloway Hills, earthenware vases with rich
forms and textures.......and lots more!

Be Inspired by our Seasonal Plantings

Our Courtyard Garden, masterminded by our Head Gardener, Harriet Rycroft,
will inspire you with new ideas. From cutting-edge contemporary through
to sumptuous traditional plantings, we will show you the way.
Working Pottery
But above all, we are a working pottery, so come and chat to our potters
(Monday to Thursday) and see how these pots are made and decorated. Every
week, 6 tonnes of raw clay are turned into 600 handmade flowerpots by
a specialist team of craftsmen and women. We are passionate about keeping
traditional potting skills alive and our collection of skills is unique
in Europe.
