Adult Pottery Workshops

We hold regular pottery workshops at Whichford. These are fun as well as educational - no experience necessary!

You will be taught throwing and hand-building techniques in small groups by two of our highly-skilled senior potters.

Our 2013 workshops are:
Saturday 1st June
Saturday 31st August
Saturday 19th October

Tickets - £75 per workshop.

Cost includes all tuition, materials, firing, tea/coffee and home-made cake.

We take a maximum of 10 people per workshop so places are always limited.

Programme For Each Workshop

9-9.30am
Assemble and meet your fellow pupils

9.30am
The group divides - half the class will be taught throwing and the other half will learn about hand building techniques.

11am
Break for coffee, tea and home made cakes.

11.30pm
Groups swap tutors.

1.30pm
End of workshop.

We will supervise the drying and firing of your "works of art" which will take approximately six weeks.
